Examination Guidelines

Please read the examinations guidelines carefully and adhere to it:

  1. All students log in to Google Meet as usual.

  2. Log in 15 minutes before the exam start time.

  3. Entry after the mentioned exam time will be denied.

  4. The Question paper will be sent on Google Classroom.

  5. Entry will be allowed from one device only. Make sure that your device’s audio and video are in working condition.

  6. The student should wear a school formal or sports uniform or any blue T-shirt or shirt.

  7. 5 minutes before the examination time, you will be given time to read the paper.

  8. Identify a room at your current residence where the Internet reception is good and ensure there is an uninterrupted power supply to your device.

  9. Put a notice outside the room stating ‘SILENCE PLEASE, EXAM IN PROGRESS’.

  10. Only transparent bottles for drinking water are allowed to be kept. Snacking is strictly prohibited.

  11. Students are expected to utilize the break given between P1 and P2 as no breaks will be allowed after examination login time. Arrange two medium or small tables of equal height and place them in ‘ L’ shape.

  12. Place the laptop/device on one table and use the other for writing purpose. This is to ensure that the student can right comfortably while the Answer sheet is visible to the invigilator throughout the examination.

  13. You must switch off notification for your device on which you are giving the examination. Please do not click on any notification that pops up as it will result in being you logged out of the examination.

  14. All the required examination stationary ( pen/pencil/eraser/ sharpener/geometrical instruments etc.) should be kept handy as you will not be allowed to leave to collect any stationary while the examination is in progress.

  15. Calculators are allowed only if the subject paper has the instructions written on it regarding the same.

  16. A soft copy of the data booklet/insert/formula sheet etc. will be provided with the question paper.

  17. A4 ruled or unruled papers should be used as answer sheets or any similar paper that fits the scan in the ‘Portrait’ orientation properly.

  18. The visiting Examination Supervisor will enter randomly to see the fair conduction of the exam and may ask any child to send an image of his/her ongoing work to the invigilator.

  19. Appropriate action will be taken if the invigilator and supervisors sense malpractice.

  20. The paper should be submitted within 10 minutes after the exam end time. No paper will be evaluated if submitted late.

  21. No mode, other than Google classroom (Mail, WhatsApp, etc) of submitting the answers sheets will be accepted.

  22. The answer sheet should be sent as a clear pdf file. The Examiner will not be responsible for not awarding marks if the image is blur or does not include the complete question or part question.
