srcoll arrowThe International Day of Yoga was celebrated on June 21st at Boston World School with a lot of enthusiasm.
Yoga is an ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice that originated in India. The word ‘yoga’ derives from Sanskrit that means to join or to unite, symbolizing the union of body and consciousness.
This union of body and mind was clearly seen from grade 1 to 12th, as all the kids participated by bringing in their yoga mats and towels and doing various poses. The yoga instructor also explained the benefits for the same which will help children to deal with stress, improve concentration and contribute to the development and peace of society.
A small initiative of Boston World School for a better tomorrow. Like the saying goes” Little things make a big difference.”
