srcoll arrowSports are about those incredible moments where sheer strong will and focus, overcome the odds. Many memories were created at BOSTON WORLD SCHOOL on 13th December 2019, on their Pre-primary and Primary Annual Sports Day.
An obstacle course was planned for parent’s entry that got them warmed up to cheer for the races that follow.
The event began welcoming the judge Ms. LIYAAN AKKALKOTKAR, a game of young National level tennis and football player, who gave our young students an inspirational talk to be great athletes. The day started with a torch run by the pre-primary children.
As the theme of the sports day was CIRCUS, the Clown mascot made the parents giggle with glee. The pre-primary children performed Yoga while grade 1-3 children performed the popular Lezim dance that won every parent’s heart. The highlight of the day was the Strong man act performed by the pre-primary that made parents applaud and laugh to their heart’s content.
All the races were well thought of keeping the theme in mind like the ballerina race with hooplas and acrobat race with chairs that got the parents almost jumping on their seats while children ran and focused to win the medals.
But sports day is not only about sitting and cheering. There were races organized for sub staff, teachers and also all the parents, which made the children enjoy the event to the fullest.
The bonding after the event with a few snacks was like a family catching up after a long time.
All in all, the entire event was culminated by happy smiles and giggles, just like when you visit a circus. Mission accomplished by the Boston team to make this a fun but a learning experience for all children.
