CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS

Celebrating events and festivals in schools is an integral part of learning, which builds a strong traditional and cultural belief in children.

Christmas is round the corner, which is observed on 25th December every year. It means “Feast day of Christ”. It commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. The festival is celebrated with a lot of passion and enthusiasm all over the world, famed for its decorations and Santa Claus.

The teachers in BOSTON WORLD SCHOOL planned to have fun and celebrate Christmas virtually on Saturday, 19th December. The event began with welcoming The CEO and Director of the RAIS Foundation Dr. Farah Rais, Principal and Dean Ms. Bharti Dhar, Parents and students. Farah ma’am wished all of us a wonderful, healthy and a safe New Year 2021.

The significance of the festival was conveyed to the students by presenting a Power point presentation and a short story on Jesus narrated by a teacher. Students of different grades took active part in the celebration by presenting their screens and performing live. Students of Grade 8 – A2 did a noble cause by donating food, cash and biscuits to the needy. The program ended with soulful carol singing which was performed by the teachers and the admin team. The children enjoyed to the beats of “Jingle bells” and the dancing of the Santa Claus.

Later, there were art and craft based activities where the students enjoyed making Santa Claus, Christmas tree, and Christmas cards.
