The coronavirus pandemic, which necessitated an overnight switch from in-person learning to virtual learning, had an adverse effect on students’ emotional wellbeing, asserted principals during their annual Principals Meet held by Times of India NIE at The O Hotel in Koregaon Park.
During the meeting, which was attended by 150 school principals from Maharashtra, participants underscored the need to re-establish an emotional connect with students, and work on building their social skills, which had suffered due to stay-at-home protocols and the attrition rate of teachers with their work and home life was a challenging task.
We are proud to share that our School Principal Ms. Seema Sharma was invited as one of the panelists along with three others for the session.
It was an impromptu and healthy discussion where she was appreciated for her kind words which would bring change in the school’s environment.
The session was covered by leading national newspapers “Times of India” and NIE.
