TRIP TO SCIENCE PARK

Boston World School believes in Holistic approach to learning. For the same, the students of grade 8 & 9 were taken to an educational field trip to Science Park on 26th November ’22. They were awe-struck knowing the different aspects of Science explained in an interesting manner. They were amazed at the glimpse of Pune’s night sky that threw more light on the stars and constellations in the ‘Taramandal’ show. The students enjoyed the automobile section where they saw gears and hydraulics hands-on exhibits. The experience of the importance of wearing seat belt gave them a good learning of consequences of not following rules. The sections on energy and fun science had hands-on experiments on a variety of concepts ranging from mirrors to magnets and sound, light and energy conversions. The science park also had many play way demonstrations of scientific concept in the form of games and small exhibits arranged in the garden surrounding the main building. The trip proved to be very informative and surely aroused the interest of kids regarding science and its applications.
