VISIT TO RAIL MUSEUM

Boston World School believes in Holistic approach to learning. For the same the students of grade 5, 6,7 were taken to an educational field trip to Joshi rail museum which is one of a kind, situated at Kothrud  in Pune district. A unique museum demonstrating the layout of railway track, town and highway in a huge model which is operated by the preprogramed mechanism .The museum was conceptualized  and started by Mr B.S. Joshi. showcasing various types of trains/engines such as steam engine, cable car, bullet train, monorail and tram. Students were amazed to experience the live demonstration sparked with curiosity and were inquisitive to ask more questions. The field trip helped the students to have knowledge about different type of trains and their running mechanism. Students departed home with minds filled with this thrilling and enriching experience.
