Yes. The 'A' Level examination is equivalent to the Std. XII examination and is one of the eligibility criteria to appear for any Indian competitive examinations.

Formative and Summative assessments for students as a standard approach is followed across all grades at BWS.
  • Weekly tests will be a part of Formative assessments along with various other tools assessing the learning of every child under our care.
  • Two Summative assessments and four Formative assessments will be conducted during one academic session.

All faculties appointed are adequately qualified and experienced to deliver the IGCSE curriculum, however, the BOSTON policy encourages the continuous professional development of teachers throughout the year ensuring good teaching and successful learning.

The same education would cost you ₤7,000 (Rs. 6 lacs) per year, i.e., ₤14,000 (Rs. 12 lacs) for a two years period of tuition fees. The cost of accommodation and other living expenses would be approximately ₤12,000 (Rs. 10 lacs) for two years. Thus the total expenditure would be around Rs. 22 lacs.

Yes. It has been decided that Indian students will not require any permission/ no objection from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Secondary & Higher Education for appearing for 'A' Level examinations mentioned.

Boston World School is equipped completely to deal with any fire and medical emergencies. The building is fireproof and the school also has a tie-up with a nearby hospital. A doctor on call and a full-time nurse in the school with a dedicated sickbay is available for temporary medical relief.

Boston World School has a separate Canteen facility, well equipped to provide nutritious food as per the advice of the in-school dietician and nutritionist.

    After the confirmation of admission, you will be informed of the procedure to procure the books and uniforms.

Post the successful completion of the IGCSE, students can continue their studies from any of the local colleges in India or students can pursue the international 'A' Levels at BOSTON or any international curriculum in India or abroad.
The 'A' Level is a superior alternative to HSC or Junior College and is a two-year program after Std. X conducted by the University of Cambridge International Examinations (UCIE).
It is one of the most recognized qualifications around the world and is accepted as proof of academic ability for entry into any reputed Universities (including Mumbai and other Indian universities).
