"All glory comes from daring to begin”
It is with this glorious vision our new academic session at Boston World School (IN 791) a department of Cambridge University began on 15th June 2015, an initiative taken by the Managing Director, Mr Museeb Rais Sir and Director Dr. Farah Ma’am, Academic Director, Dr Kishore Pillai and the Principal, Ms Bharti Dhar . Building the future for the younger generations, our vision is to provide transformational opportunities through access to an Inspirational, Global and Lifelong educational experience. The first couple of months saw a flurry of curricular and extracurricular activities that have made Boston World School a force to reckon with.
“Competition is always a good thing. It forces us to do our best.” To begin with the Poster Making Competition on Healthy Habits & Social Evils was a window into the varied perspectives students have on important issues. The winners were Krish Chandnani, Shania Chandnani & Leisha Chandnan. “Taking an image, freezing a moment, reveals how rich reality truly is.” A Photo-Skill Competition was organized on the topic- People of Pune. The students displayed some amazing photography skills.
“Work to become, not to acquire.” A Career Counseling Workshop (Induction) was conducted in collaboration with Energia Pvt. Ltd. Mr Aditya, the resource person guided the students on career decisions which was followed by an aptitude test.
A Fresher’s Party was organized to welcome the pioneers of BWS and to help them create everlasting relationships with each other. The purpose of this event was that every “fresher” of Boston feels an integral part of the BWS family and gets geared up to take on the challenge of the year ahead. Organized at Atlantis Club and Resto, Ira Pareek and Shaurya Sharma (From AS) were crowned as the Ms. and Mr. Boston.
Three students of A levels Yash Charbhe, Yash Dinani and Shaurya Sharma brought laurels to the school for their active participation in the Pune Model United Nations competition held on 8th August, 2015 at Crescent High School.
A great day and a proud moment for every Indian. The Boston family geared up to celebrate the 69th Independence Day. It commenced with the flag hoisting lead by the rendition of the National Anthem that filled the air with a patriotic fervor. It was followed by an awareness drive about the hazards of plastic and the use of eco-friendly products to promote green living, a novel initiative taken by the students of BWS as they distributed handmade paper bags to passersby near Jyoti Restaurant at Kondhwa.
As long as we are being honest and do not bend the truth to accomplish another goal we are confident that we'd be able to tell the story the way it happened.
